I designed and animated this vertical film for Phillips Watches to promote a selection of vintage timepieces from the 1970s and 80s. I took cues from Saul Bass and 1970s funk graphics and built the whole piece from bold geometric shapes. Each shape opens like a window onto a fragment of a watch, so the viewer sees a detail before the full piece is revealed.
